How to upload a brand document

There is no separate brand-book product. A brand book, a guidelines PDF, or a tone-of-voice document is uploaded as a Brand document.

  1. During setup. On Tell Marshi about your brand, use Brand document. The hint is an optional brand guide, deck, or tone-of-voice doc. Then continue the assisted setup.
  2. After the brand exists. Open Foundation, then Core. The Brand source panel says you can paste a website URL or upload a brand document. You can also open Fill with Marshi, choose From a document, and choose Read & draft.
  3. Review the suggestions. Marshi suggests Core fields, colours, typography, and logo or images. Accept or dismiss each suggestion. Nothing is saved before you do.

Common questions

Can I upload a brand book later, not only at setup?

Yes. Use Brand source on Core, or Fill with Marshi and From a document. Both read the file into suggestions you review.
