CV and application letter for one job

Upload a CV or paste the text, and add a job ad. You get a CV and an application letter for that job. Three applications from this browser, then a free account. LinkedIn import needs an account. If you are already signed in, this page does not use those free applications. It sends you to the writer in your workspace, which uses your living profile. A free account includes 3 applications a month. On Pro and above, each application counts toward monthly usage.

One job, one CV, one letter

Three applications, then an account

Upload a CV or paste the text, and add one job ad. A file can be PDF, Word, or plain text. Paste the ad, or one job-ad address. You get the CV and the letter for that job. A guest can do this three times from this browser, then a free account.

The letter is plain prose. The CV is short markdown. You download both as one file, cv-and-letter.md, plus a list of gaps: things the ad asks for that the profile does not show. The writing uses only facts in the profile. It does not invent employers, dates, degrees, results or contact details. Unsupported asks go in the gaps, not into the letter.

How a profile gets in

LinkedIn import is for a signed-in account. A guest still sees the tab, locked, with login and signup. The address has to be your own public profile, and you confirm that before the fetch. It is read once and is not stored. If it cannot be read, upload the file or paste the text.

Check the profile, then make the application. Read the gaps before you send anything. An account keeps a living profile. A guest spends no Marshi usage. A signed-in account uses the workspace writer: 3 applications a month with a free account, and on Pro each one counts toward monthly usage.

Applications it fits

One role this week, with the letter pointed at that ad. A CV you already have, retold against a specific posting, without new employers appearing. A list of requirements your profile does not cover, so you do not paper over them.

The job-application guide is the discipline around the tool: let it tidy, and keep the facts yours. It will not add a degree to fill a line.

Questions about the CV and the letter

How many applications can a guest make?

Three from this browser. The fourth asks for a free account. The cookie stores the count, not the CV.

Do you store my LinkedIn profile?

No. A public profile is fetched once to make the CV and is not stored. You confirm it is your own profile before the fetch.

Will it add jobs or degrees I do not have?

No. Employers, dates, degrees, results and contact details come only from the profile. Anything the ad asks for that the profile cannot support is listed as a gap.

Does LinkedIn import work without an account?

No. Log in or create a free account. Upload and paste stay open for the three guest applications.

Is this a Marshi subscription?

No. A guest application does not spend Marshi usage or start a subscription. A free account includes 3 applications a month. On Pro, each application counts toward monthly usage.

Read the gaps, then read the guide before you send the letter.
