ChatGPT (OpenAI)
The most used and the most versatile. Strong on ideas, structure, spreadsheets and images, with many built-in tools. ChatGPT has its own memory features and can remember facts about you across conversations, but it is your memory, not your company's, and it does not travel to other tools.
Claude (Anthropic)
Known for long, careful, considered writing and for following instructions closely. Claude has a large context window and is a good choice when you work with long documents, contracts or a whole website. Many people pick Claude for text that will be published.
Gemini (Google)
Tightly integrated with Google's tools and strong on very long documents, video and audio as input, and on tasks where you want fresh information from the web. The Gemini models come in several sizes, and the fast ones are cheap enough for large volumes.
What they have in common
All three start from zero every time you open a new conversation. What you told them about your brand last week is gone, unless you paste it in again or use memory features that are locked to that one service.
That is the real difference between using AI and using AI well: not which assistant you choose, but whether it knows your context.
How to choose
Use the one you like working in. The quality gap on everyday text is small, and it shifts with every release. Put your effort into giving the assistant good context, and into being able to take that context with you when you switch tools.
- A lot of writing that will be published: Claude
- Ideas, structure, spreadsheets and images in one conversation: ChatGPT
- Very long documents, video, Google workflows: Gemini
In Marshi
Marshi is built to be that context. You set up the brand once, connect ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, and they read the same truth every time.
