One caption, and hashtags for one network

What you get back

Say what the post is about. Choose Instagram or LinkedIn. Choose a tone: professional, warm, bold, playful or plain. You get one caption, and a short set of hashtags. LinkedIn is asked for about three to five. Instagram is asked for up to five hashtags. On the page they are shown with a hash in front of each word.

The caption is plain sentences. Emoji are left out unless your brief asks for them. This page does not publish the post, does not schedule it, and does not draw the picture.

It also does not know your brand. The tone is the one you picked in the form. In Marshi, a caption can follow the voice saved on the brand, and Marshi can draw the image in the same request. That happens in Chat, against the project where the brand lives. It does not happen on this page.

How to brief it

Write the concrete thing. What is happening, where, and what you want the reader to do. “We open a quiet coffee bar in Oslo in November” is a usable brief. A topic with no fact in it tends to come back just as empty.

Pick the network, because the hashtags follow it. Pick the tone. Read the caption out loud. If you would not say it, change the brief and run it again. Each run is one caption, not a set of variants. The guide on captions that work is about first lines, formulas and length. It also talks about Facebook and X. This tool does not write for those, or for TikTok.

Posts it is meant for

An opening announcement you want as an Instagram caption before you edit it by hand. A LinkedIn note that should stay plain, with fewer hashtags. A product post where you already know the fact and you want a first wording, not a finished campaign.

Questions about the caption

Which networks can I write for?

Instagram and LinkedIn. Not Facebook, TikTok or X.

Does it publish or schedule the post?

No. You copy the text. Nothing is published or scheduled from this page.

Does it use my brand voice?

Not here. You pick one of five tones. In Marshi, a caption can follow the voice saved on the brand.

Will there be emoji, or a picture?

Emoji only if your brief asks for them. This page does not make the picture. In Marshi, the caption and the image can be one request.

How many hashtags do I get?

A short set. LinkedIn is asked for about three to five. Instagram is asked for up to five hashtags.

Judge the draft against the guide, then take the voice into Marshi.
