How to connect GitHub to a brand

GitHub is a brand source, shown only when it is turned on for the workspace. If you do not see the panel, there is no hidden GitHub step.

  1. Find the panel. Look for GitHub repository during brand setup, or later under Brand, then Settings. The body says Marshi will read the repository and that nothing is saved on the brand until you apply each suggestion.
  2. Connect. Choose Connect GitHub. If you are already signed in to GitHub, you may see Use your GitHub login. Otherwise grant repository access.
  3. Choose the repository. Under Repository, choose the repository, then Read this repository. If GitHub returned nothing this connection can read, the panel says so.
  4. Apply suggestions. When suggestions are waiting, open Review on the brand and apply each one. Read again re-reads the repository. Disconnect removes the connection.

Common questions

Why is there no GitHub section?

The panel is hidden when GitHub is not configured for that workspace, and when your role cannot change the GitHub source. There is no other screen that connects a repository.
